02What this website does not do

• It does not ask you to enter any personal data. There are no forms, sign-ups or user accounts.
• It does not use analytics, advertising, retargeting, session recording or social-media tracking.
• It does not set cookies (see our cookie policy).
• It does not load fonts, scripts or other resources from third-party services. Everything comes from tobie.io.
• We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.

03Visiting the website: hosting

The website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. (USA). To deliver pages to you, your browser necessarily sends technical data to GitHub’s servers, such as your IP address, browser and device information, the page requested and the time of the request.

GitHub states that when a GitHub Pages site is visited, the visitor’s IP address is logged and stored for security purposes. ZERO.BIM does not receive, access or use these logs. GitHub processes this data under its own responsibility and its privacy statement, including how long it keeps the data.

• Purpose: delivering the website to you securely and reliably.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

04Your privacy choice, stored on your device

When you make a choice in the privacy panel, the website stores that choice in your browser’s local storage under the name tobie_consent. It records which optional categories you allowed, the policy version and when you chose. It contains no name, email address or tracking identifier, and it is not sent to us. Details are in the cookie policy.

• Legal basis: it is strictly necessary to respect your choice (Article 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR, and the exemption for strictly necessary storage under § 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications).

05When you contact us by email

If you email us, for example at info@zerobim.eu, we process your email address, your name if you give it, the content of your message and any details you choose to include.

• Purpose: reading and answering your message, and handling any follow-up you ask for.
• Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Retention: as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting correspondence, normally no longer than 3 years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to establish or defend legal claims.

Please do not send us sensitive personal data by email.

06Who receives personal data

• GitHub, Inc. (USA): hosting of this website, as described in section 3.
• Google (Google Workspace): our email service. Messages you send to us are stored and processed by Google on our behalf.
• Professional advisers, courts or authorities, where necessary to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not share personal data with anyone else for their own marketing.

07International transfers

GitHub and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. GitHub, Inc. and Google LLC have both certified their adherence to the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of protection. Where that framework does not apply, transfers rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another safeguard permitted by Chapter V GDPR.

08Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy (Article 15);
• have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16);
• have data erased in the cases set out in Article 17;
• restrict processing in the cases set out in Article 18;
• receive data you gave us in a portable format, where Article 20 applies;
• object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interests (Article 21);
• withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing already carried out.

To use any of these rights, email info@zerobim.eu. We will reply within one month, as required by the GDPR, and may need to confirm your identity first. For data held by GitHub in its hosting logs, you can also contact GitHub directly.

09Complaints

If you believe we have not handled your personal data lawfully, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the Czech Republic that is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajú, uoou.gov.cz). You may also complain to the authority in the EU country where you live or work.

10Changes to this notice

We will update this notice if the way the website handles personal data changes, for example if a contact form or analytics tool is added. We will do that before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
